Die Mädchenmannschaft des Joliot-Curie-Gymnasiums hat am Dienstag, dem 10. März 2026, erneut einen großartigen Erfolg gefeiert: Mit ihrem Sieg beim Landesfinale „Jugend trainiert für Olympia“ in Zwickau sicherten sich die Spielerinnen bereits zum dritten Mal in Folge das Ticket für das Bundesfinale in Berlin. Voller Energie, Teamgeist und Entschlossenheit kämpften die Schülerinnen gegen die besten Mannschaften Sachsens – und überzeugten auf ganzer Linie.
Vom 28. Februar bis zum 6. März 2026 fand unser diesjähriges Skilager der gesamten Klassenstufe 8 des Joliot-Curie-Gymnasiums statt. Ziel der Reise war das Ötztal in Österreich, eine der bekanntesten Wintersportregionen den Alpen. Die Fahrt ermöglichte uns nicht nur, unsere Fähigkeiten im Skifahren zu verbessern oder gar neu zu erlernen, sondern auch, unsere sozialen Kontakte zu stärken und gemeinsam unvergessliche Erfahrungen zu sammeln.
Our new climbing trail in the school playground was inaugurated in mid-May. The Year 5 and 6 pupils clearly enjoyed trying out the new climbing trail and are enjoying the new play opportunities in our school playground.
The 12th stair run at the Joliot-Curie-Gymnasium is history. Thanks to the help of the 12th graders with the organization, a new record number of participants (97 starters) was achieved this time.
We spent the last day of school together at Wilhelmsplatz. We honored students for their English skills, their academic achievements and their social commitment. Afterwards, it was time to thank everyone who supported the school with their commitment in the 2024/2025 school year.
