14th flight of stairs

On 08.11.2025 the 14th stair run took place at the Joliot-Curie-Gymnasium Görlitz. A total of 27 runners took part, including siblings and parents. The youngest runner was 8 years old, the oldest 63. There were 130 steps to climb, with the long school corridors in between. All runners reached the finish line safely and received a certificate of participation at the end of the event. The three fastest runners also received a small runner's trophy and a voucher from the sports store Muskelkater. The prizes were provided by the school's support association. The school records were not broken this year.

We are already looking forward to next year, when we will be celebrating a small anniversary: the 15th stair run at our school. We would be delighted to see so many pupils, siblings, parents and grandparents taking part!
