Donation from Alstom enriches our art lessons
On 21.11.2025, one of our year 11 basic art courses had a visit from the Alstom company. Mr. Meier and Mr. Tietze presented 35 Apple Pencils to our grammar school on behalf of the company. This generous donation in kind supports us in implementing our goals in the context of the "culture of digitality". After all, digital technology should not only play an important role in STEM subjects.
Our art course also got straight to work: the students are currently studying the Baroque era. The landscape painting of this period was divided into idyllic and heroic depictions. The course's task was to decide on one of the categories and transfer such a work to our present day.

In future, the Apple Pencils will be available to all teachers and pupils. They will also be used in projects, including the "Technical Drawing" project during Joliot Curie Week.
We would like to thank Mr. Meier and Mr. Tietze for the successful handover and thank the company Alstom for the generous donation to our secondary school!
