From 09.12.24 to 10.12.24 we, classes 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3 of the Joliot-Curie-Gymnasium, traveled by bus to the IJBS - International Youth Meeting Center Oświęcim to visit the former concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
After finally arriving at our youth hostel late on Monday evening after a long journey, we set off early on Tuesday to explore Brussels' European Quarter.

The girls from Joliot-Curie-Gymnasium Görlitz are going to the national finals in Berlin. On Tuesday, 12.03.2024, 10 "Görls" from the 5th and 6th grades made their way to Pulsnitz for the state final of the school sports competition "Jugend trainiert für Olympia" in handball.
The 12th stair run at the Joliot-Curie-Gymnasium is history. Thanks to the help of the 12th graders with the organization, a new record number of participants (97 starters) was achieved this time.
