The Förderverein has been funding the following activities for many years:

• Joliot Curie Prizes: annual awards for students with very good performance and social commitment in grades 5 - 10
• Abitur prize: awards for the best Abitur certificate in the year
• Sport: support for participation in "Jugend trainiert für Olympia" and other competitions, taking the sports badge
• Competitions: math and geo olympics, language competitions
• Internal school homework booklets: free of charge for fifth graders
• Traditions: e.g. stair race, different race, rowing duel (competition between the two grammar schools)

The Förderverein is a contractual partner:

• School meals
• All-day activities
• Cooperation with the Job Center
• School social work

Financed and completed projects:

• Purchase of a grand piano and trusses and lighting
• trusses and lighting for events

Projects to be realized this year

• New safety tiles for the table tennis table in the school playground
• Various balancing poles for the school playground
