A special event at the end of the school year is the water sports camp for Year 11 pupils. This involves several day trips in three-person kayaks in the Dahme-Seenland region in Brandenburg. The application of paddling techniques, raising students' awareness of responsible interaction with nature, working with geographical maps for orientation, imparting knowledge of flora and fauna and holding water battles are all part of the traditional paddling camp program. All in all, the paddle camp is a complete package of sport, knowledge transfer and fun in nature.
