The Advent concerts are a special highlight in the life of our grammar school. Festively decorated, the historic auditorium seats 160 guests. In two events, our fifth-graders present what they have learned in the first quarter of class music-making ("An instrument for every child", financed by the Förderverein). Pupils from the older year groups then demonstrate with their performances how beautiful music can sound on their instruments after several years of lessons. The school choir and the school band also conjure up a pre-Christmas atmosphere in the hearts of the audience with their contributions - sometimes contemplative, sometimes lively. Of course, the song "Alle Jahre wieder" is also sung together by the audience and the choirs at every Advent concert. The musicians are supported by the school helpers, the dedicated students of the GTA Soundcheck, all tenth graders, other helpers and the teachers of our school.
