Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is an EU program that has been promoting personal encounters, digital exchanges and joint projects for schools in Europe since 2014. The aim of the program is to support the educational, professional and personal development of learners and teachers through mobility projects, i.e. stays abroad for learning purposes.
The JCG has been a member of the Erasmus+ consortium of the State Office for Schools and Education since the 2022/23 school year and, in this context, is given the opportunity to train two colleagues per school year. The teachers take part in courses on topics such as sustainable development, modern teaching methods and intercultural competence in order to create attractive and up-to-date lessons for the pupils. Teachers also act as multipliers to pass on the knowledge and skills they have acquired to their colleagues.
